An evidence-based approach

Dr James Morris has over 20 years experience working in the alcohol and addiction field. As an author of new UK clinical guidelines for alcohol treatment, he is at the forefront of evidence-based approaches to changing drinking behaviours.
Dr Morris has trained thousands of people in alcohol, addiction and behaviour change skills. He has taught addiction theory at post-graduate level and has multiple peer-reviewed publications covering alcohol behaviour change and addiction issues. His PhD focused on change processes in drinking behaviours.
He is host of The alcohol “problem” podcast and is a regular speaker at conferences and for media and adviser for a range of health organisations and charities.

Addressing an alcohol or addiction problem is an individual process. Your goal might be to cut down your drinking or quit gambling, or even to explore what approach to take.
Our approach will be non-judgmental and person-centered, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches (CBT, MI, SBNT) to help you identify and implement your goals. We will work together online to help your with your goals.
